Enjoying Fall October 6-16th

The first part of October was really good. We had lots of fun enjoying the fall weather. The weather was starting to cool down but still warm enough to enjoy being outside so we made sure to take advantage of being outside while we could.

Brandon took Wyatt one afternoon our to Scheel's just the two of them. Wyatt was so excited to have some alone time with his Dad. Brandon sent me these pics of them riding the ferris wheel. haha

The boys have been waking up pretty early these days and one morning I thought they were still asleep when I came out of my room around 7:30. Ya... I went into their room to find them quietly playing on the iPad. haha Who knows how long they had been up playing quietly in their room in the dark. haha

We also got to enjoy the beautiful weather and go play at the park.

We had a lot of fun at the park and then headed to go grab some lunch after that before heading home for Emmett to take a nap!

I love Sunday evenings when we watch a movie with the boys with malts.

We decided to watch "The Princess Bride" with them because we were wanting to dress up as characters from the movie for Halloween. So we figured it would be a good idea to let the boys see who they would be dressing up as. The boys LOVED the movie! haha After the movie was over they started acting out their different parts for the characters that they were going to be dressing up as, it was quite hilarious!

We also had our very first snow. It was more like a dusting of snow and was practically all melted by the time Ethan got home from school. Still it seemed pretty early to have snow already in the beginning of October!

That morning when it snowed I decided to head to Scheel's with Wyatt and Emmett and let them play in the play area and maybe go on the ferris wheel.

Sadly, Emmett is too short by like half and inch and they wouldn't let him go on it. So we just went and played in the play set area and they ate the lunch that I packed for them before we headed home to take Wyatt to preschool.

Look at the red in those trees... So pretty!!

We hit Texas Roadhouse kind of frequently because Monday nights the kids eat for $1. So it seems like a no brainer a lot of the time.

Brandon let the boys get their faces painted the last time we went and they were so excited. Wyatt did not want me to wash the snake off of his face. haha

Just some silly time with Emmett. :-)

What better way to crush leaves than on your little red bike! haha

Wyatt did the monkey bars all by himself for the first time! He was so proud of himself! It was fun to watch him make it across and to see how excited he was.

This is a common look Emmett likes to give me. haha He can make the grumpiest faces sometimes.

These were 2 crafts Wyatt did at preschool. He was so excited about his leaf pattern and made sure that I realized that it was a pattern. haha

Nothing better than making some yummy cookies especially with these cute helpers! :-)

Emmett decided that he was tired and was going to go to sleep on the floor. Wyatt was very helpful and tried to make him very comfortable. I think they were playing kitty cats or something. haha

Look at that handsome little man!!! such a cute picture of this little guy!!

I don't know why I keep deciding to give Emmett chocolate when we are in the car. haha It always ends up everywhere!!

This was what Brandon and Travis dressed up as for an office party! haha Napoleon Dynamite and Kip. haha

So during the beginning of the month we also had to get our costumes put together. So we did a lot of Good will shopping trying to get our costumes figured out. One afternoon I pulled out my wig we had bought and tried it on. Then I decided to try it on Wyatt and Emmett....

Our boys looked so funny with this long blonde wig. It was so funny to put it on them and it really showed off their face shape. Crazy how all of our boys have the same face shape!

On the 15th Brandon and I had a Halloween birthday party to go to for Travis and so we got all dressed up and ready to go.

Announcing...

Wesley and Princess Buttercup.

What is crazy is that we were so excited about our costumes and that we thought about doing it. We arrived at the party just in time to see another couple walking into the party dressed the same way. We couldn't believe it!! The only thing that was different was that they looked like they were from before the fire swamp and we were the after the fire swamp characters. haha The party was really fun! We ate food, played some games and ended off the night with some dancing. It was a fun party!

This picture does not need much explanation. That is Wyatt's bed and that wet spot is not water!
NASTY!!!!
How could a 5 year old boy have that much pee inside of him and not only that but let it out in his bed! So gross!!!
Anyways, the first part of October was pretty eventful and pretty great!!
