Wyatt's Birthday

Wyatt turned 9!!! What the heck! He is almost in the double digits now too!
Anyways, Wyatt and Papa's birthdays were on a Sunday this year. So we celebrated some on the Saturday before. We scheduled for Wyatt to invite a few friends for a little birthday party. So Brandon took Wyatt and some friends to Fort Fun to do some mini golf and arcade games. I stayed home with Kayden while they went. I don't have many pictures from his birthday because I was in a lot of pain. So I didn't do much with them. I did make it to dinner at Freddy's with the crew. That is what Wyatt wanted to dinner.

Wyatt said he had a lot of fun at his Birthday party with his friends. So I am glad he had fun doing that even though I couldn't be there to watch them.

Wyatt was so excited to get money for his birthday from Grandma and Grandpa Murri. He couldn't believe how much he got and couldn't wait to spend it. haha

We usually go out for birthday donuts but Wyatt didn't want to this year. He just wanted cereal! WHAT??? Any excuse to get donuts is a good excuse to me. So I couldn't believe Wyatt didn't want them. It was his birthday weekend though so we did what he wanted.

On Sunday Wyatt got to open up his presents since it was officially his birthday!

Kadyen was almost more excited about Wyatt's baby yoda! haha As soon as Wyatt opened it Kayden yelled, "Baby Yoda!!" then he wanted to hold it. haha It was pretty cute!

He was so excited about his gifts. He is always so grateful for what he gets. Plus he was excited to try out his new scooter!

Wyatt does not like cake very much. So he wanted brownies again this year. However, he wanted brownies but also wanted it to be decorated like I usually do for birthday's. He wanted a basketball/scooter brownie. So Brandon did just that! haha

Still can't believe this is Wyatt's last year in the single digits. He is still such a tender hearted kid and a people pleaser for sure. He still loves to be in the spot light and loves his brothers. He has really enjoyed basketball lately as well as golf. School comes pretty easy to him and he is a great reader. Wyatt also can't get enough of Kayden. Kayden will say something cute to Wyatt and Wyatt will just melt and say, "Aww... he is so cute!" He is a good helper around the house and has learned to do the dishes which he is really good at. If I ask him to help me with something, especially since I have been injured, he will jump right at the opportunity to help out. He is such a good kid and we are excited to see what the futures brings for him.

Cute Kayden

Our sweet little Kayden is just so funny. We love seeing his personality shine more each day. He says so many things it is hard to think of what to write. His little sentences always surprise me. The logic behind what he says is so fun to hear and it is just too cute. We all sure do love him and are so glad he is was sent to us as our caboose.

While putting my makeup on Kayden has to follow me and climb up by my sink. He tries to get in to everything of mine and open everything. This time he did his own makeup. haha
He LOVES to open up the mail boxes.

We will go outside to let him ride around the block on his little wiggle car and he will stop at the mailbox and just keep opening them up. He would stay there and play forever if I let him.

He also loves when its garbage day. We will be sitting at the table eating lunch and he will hear the trucks coming. He will says, "Hear dat?" Garbage truck coming!" Then he will want to see it. So sometimes when the weather is nice I will take him outside to watch the trucks come by and pick up our garbage. He thinks it is so cool!

Brother LOVE!!! Whenever we read to the boys at night Kayden likes to join in and usually lays in bed with Ethan. He is just too cute and we all can't get enough! Kayden thinks he can sleep in bed with Ethan when we does this and is bummed when we tell him he can't.

The only time he wore a mask at church. He kept it on for a few minutes which was longer than I had anticipated him keeping it on. He looked so stinking cute with that little mask covering half of his face.
Some of the words he says that are just too cute not to write down are: Lalo which later turned to lawter (water), packback (backpack), bepfast (breakfast), bawful (careful) and when its time for the boys to get ready for bed and brush their teeth Kayden will run upstairs with the crew and yell what sounds like "Butt cheeks" he is really saying brush teeths but he doesn't say it very pronounced and it is so funny when he says it. It is fun to watch him getting bigger and able to do more things but it is also sad. I love his little self and I do wish time would slow down a little bit so we could enjoy his little voice and cute words and phrases for even longer. We sure do love this little guy! He will always be my baby!!

Denver Auto Show

On September 17th we headed down to Denver to go to the Denver Auto Show.

(On a side note my back had been hurting me for about 2 weeks. Brandon and I played a few round of pickleball and afterwards under my right arm and wrapping around to my spine had been hurting. The night before we headed to the Denver Auto show I had thought I was finally healing. Then Kayden fell at our neighbors house and I bent down and pulled him onto my hip to see if he was ok as he cried. Later that night my back was bugging me a little bit more. The morning of our Denver trip I got up and it was really aching. So I had Brandon put this rub on my back to help it not hurt as much anymore. Sadly, as the day went on my back hurt worse and worse.
Now back to the days adventures.)

Papa and Gigi came with us. Thankfully, we had brought jackets. Although we had planned for the weather to be nice and warm so we were all in shorts. haha
Kayden was in Heaven being able to sit in all the trucks and cars he wanted to. haha

The kids even got to race some remote control cars.

We did the jeep adventure again. Which the kids enjoyed. haha We really need to take them to DisneyLand again so they realize what a real ride is actually like. haha

Random Otters. haha

Kayden also got to hold a lady bug! haha

After seeing all the cars we took off to go get some IN N OUT. After lunch we stopped at the outlets in Thornton. By then my back was really bugging me. My Dad had some advil with him so I took the 2 that he had. Sadly, it didn't do much. By the time we got home I was hurting really bad. Brandon was taking off for a meeting when we got home and I decided to use the Tenz unit we have and ice my back to see if I could get it to stop. It only made it worse. By that evening I could barely move my upper torso. I hurt so bad! Little did I know that I would be hurting for the next 6+ months!

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day Weekend we decided to head down to Colorado Springs and spend some time with Tyrel and Vandy and their kids. We enjoyed IN N OUT, going on a fun hike, yummy sodas and lots of fun! The kids always love getting together with their cousins.

Kayden and Beckham have been getting a long really well lately. It is so fun to watch!
On our way to the hiking trail we stopped for some donuts.

Nothing better than some tasty carbs before a hike!

Ethan stopped and said in his minion voice, "BANANA" yes the boulder did look like a banana. haha

It was a pretty view from the top. We only had one child almost fall off the edge! Yes, that is right. Tate was telling Wyatt to be careful because he could fall off and then he stepped up on the edge and almost lost his balance. I grabbed his arm quickly and told everyone they needed to stay off the edge of the rock.

The boys and I then hiked the rest of the way to the top. Sadly, the clouds were hiding the best views. Oh well, it was still pretty and it was still fun!

Super cool fallen tree though!

Then it was time to hike back down before we were struck by lightning. haha

Oh what?? Yes, that is a soda from a place like Swig! It was quite tasty!!

Kayden and Beckham had a lot of fun splashing in the water from the rain.

I never knew IN N OUT fry trays made such great hats. haha

The day after our hiking adventure we took the kids to the park for some kick ball fun.

It was a fun afternoon. Although, there were a ton of bees by the tree we were parked under for our picnic so the kids did not enjoy that.

Then we were on our way back home before we knew it!
This flag looked really cool flying over the highway for Labor Day!

Brandon, finally got to enjoy the fruit of his labors, LITERALLY! haha
