Trip to Idaho

We headed out early in the morning so that we could make it to the Huntsman Reunion by lunch time. 

The sun rise was really pretty that morning!

We stopped at McDonalds for breakfast and Kayden was being really silly. I think he was just happy to be out of the car. 

We finally made it to Jackson Hole and the kids were able to get out and play. We spent the afternoon playing at a park, eating food and catching up with the Huntsman side of the family. 

Kayden kept trying to drink other peoples water. In fact Mary Jo had a water bottle that she let him drink out of. He didn't mind and so Kayden enjoyed drinking from it over and over again. haha 

After cleaning up we headed out and stopped to get some ice cream with the kids. 

They were super excited to get some ice cream. Although, Kayden was so tired that he was getting pretty grumpy! So it was not super enjoyable. I was ready to get on the road and let him nap.

This was the only way I could get Kayden to be happy in the car. So I gave him a protein drink and let him go to town. 

Then we stopped to get some pizza before heading to the house. 

Ethan and I spent the whole time waiting for the pizza to get done by making faces and screaming to keep Kayden happy. haha 

The next day we went and rode bikes around the snake river! 

The kids had a blast racing ping pong balls down this little stream part of our bike ride. Kayden didn't like dropping his ball in the water. He wanted to hold on to it. So when Brandon went to drop it in the water for the second time he started crying and screaming for his ball. So we just let him hold on to it. Silly kiddo! 

The kids had a blast riding their bikes. We rode about 13 miles that day. 9 miles around the snake river and then later that day we rode our bikes to a splash pad.

After getting some more tasty drinks of course!! 

The kids played in the water for a while and then we got some shaved ice before riding bikes back to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Then we enjoyed watching some Olympics before bed time. 

We also got to go visit Great Grandpa and Grandma Murri.

Kayden was really drawn to him. Especially when he let Kayden ride on his powered wheel chair with him. haha 

Then it was cake time!! Brandon ordered an ice cream cake for me in Idaho so we could enjoy some yummy cake before we were in the car the next day. 

Then it was time to head home. It wasn't the greatest to be in the car basically the whole day on my birthday but at least we had a really fun weekend. 

My mom came over that day and decorated the house for my birthday. It was a fun surprise! 

The boys worked on some crafts for me before we left on our trip and were excited to show me. 

It was a fun surprise and a great weekend. The day itself may not have been the best but it was a super fun weekend.
