The Bell Reunion was in Colorado this year. Since my parents moved out here it only made sense to do it here so people could see their new house and since 2 of us lived here. So on June 5th Tifany and her little family arrived. We were so excited to see them and hangout with just them for a couple of days. Q didn't get to hangout with us much because he had flight classes to go to. However, we got to see him in the evenings and we made the most of it.
The boys were not excited at all to see their cousins. haha
The first night they were there we had them over for dinner and then went to the park to play for a little while and enjoy the nice weather. That and get some of the kids wiggles out.
Then we spent some time at the pool.
Wyatt and Ryan were having so much fun together.

Then the kids had some popsicles and jumped on the trampoline.
A couple of hours later we road our bikes to Chick fil A. Originally we were all going to ride our bikes to dinner together. We had Ryan ride Emmett's bike and Emmett rode his old bike. He was not super excited about that but that was the only way it was going to work. Tif had brought Remy's bike seat to put on my parents bike and they were all set over there. However, as we started riding the clouds came in. By the time we were half way to our destination it got really windy and there was lightning and thunder going on around us. Everytime the kids would see some lightning I would tell them to count and see how far away it was. Sadly, on the way there Brandon's tire went flat so he had to stop and pump it up and then tried to keep going.
By the time we were turning in to Chick Fil A it started to rain. There were some pretty big drops starting to fall and by the time we got inside it really started to come down. When we made it I called Brandon to see where he was. I was worried he was not going to make it and then the storm was really coming in and I was a little worried for him. Then I got a call from Tif wondering if we had made it to Chick Fil A yet which we had and she was relieved because the storm was getting really close. They had decided to drive. By the time they got all of their bikes ready to leave it was super windy and they saw all the clouds and decided not to ride their bike. Which was probably a good idea since they were starting later than we were.
We were glad we made it when we did though. As soon as we got inside it was pouring outside. We would have been drenched it we had been 5 minutes later than we were.
After a yummy dinner and Brandon running to Walmart to get a new tube for his tire we were off on our bikes again. This time my Mom took Kayden with them because he wanted to ride in Gigi's cool car.
So Brandon and I rode back to the house with the rest of the older kids. Thankfully the storm was gone and it was not as windy as it had been on the way there.
More Pool time. This time we headed to the Wildwing pool!
The kids had a lot of fun playing at the pool again. Remy had more fun playing at this pool because it was not as crowded and he could swim around a little more.
After all the fun in the sun we went over to Papa and Gigi's house and my mom offered to watch the kids for a little while so Brandon and I could take Tif and Q over to play some pickleball. It was so much fun playing with them that evening and we probably played too long.
By the time we got back to the house the kids all looked so tired. Kayden was sitting on Papa's lap looking like he was going to go to sleep but not wanting to. Which was a bummer because we were hoping to play some games with everyone and just let the kids sleep for a little while over at their house until we were ready to go home. Since they were not going to sleep we had to head home and call it a night.
Off to Estes Park!
Before the whole crew was going to arrive we decided to go to Estes and go on a hike with a smaller group. We got up and drove to Estes only to find out that we needed reservations to get into the national park. So we couldn't do the hike that we had originally planned on doing with them. Instead we drove to a lake and walked around for a while which turned out to be fun anyways. The kids had fun just exploring and looking that the salamanders in the lake.
They were really weird looking.
That and catching a bunch of dragonflies.

It was fun walking around the lake. Kayden was getting grumpy and whiny but the rest of the kids were having fun.
After exploring for a while and the kids getting their feet wet in the water and trying to catch a salamander we were of to go find some lunch. We stopped at a Mexican place which was way over priced and not very good. Which was a bummer! We would have been better off getting Subway. haha
This kid was a champ for not getting a nap. It was 1 oclock by the time we were eating lunch and he was just being a happy little boy. Look at that sweet little face.

Once we were all done eating we walked over to get some subpar ice cream and then headed home. The kids were all a little grumpy by then and Remy was throwing fits because he lost is baby pinecone. So it was just the sign that we needed to be done and get back home. It was a fun afternoon though. That evening we played games with Q there before he had to leave the next day.
