Cedar Point

June 23rd Brandon and I took off on our trip to Ohio. We were pretty excited to get away for a quick weekend and to go to an amusement park. 

Ohio was really green with lots of trees everywhere. 

When we arrived in Ohio we found a place to eat something. We ate a Bucca Di Beppo. We loved the place when we lived in Arizona. However, this time we found it over priced and not as tasty. So that was a bummer. Then we were off to the AirBnB that Tyrel reserved for us. 

It was like 2 hours away. So that was a bummer but it was close to the park. 

By the time we pulled up to the house I knew we were not going to sleep well. It was a garage apartment. Kind of creepy going around the back to get in and the beds were awful!! I don't think I have slept on a worse bed than that one! haha 

One time sitting on the bed and we knew for sure that we were not going to sleep well. 

It had a tiny kitchen and a tiny bathroom that didn't even have an official door and it didn't lock. 

After getting settled we headed out to get some ice cream.

We got a small size and it was ginormous!! We couldn't even eat all of it!! 

HUGE!!! haha

Then we went and walked along the lake shore for a while. You could see Canada from where we were. 

It was a nice evening out on the lake. Although some parts were super smelly because of some of the dead fish on the shore. 

Tyrel picked this place because it was cheap and it had a ping pong table. Although, the ping pong table was in the garage and it had wires all over the place. So the boys did not play for long. There was not much space to play! 

It was super creepy going down the dark hallway to find the ping pong table. 

The next day was roller coaster day. We got up and headed out to the park to stand in line and be there right as it opened so that we could get our fast passes and our drink passes as soon as posible. Then head out to get on some rides. 

We were excited to have a day full of fun and adrenaline. Vandy is not a coaster person so she brought a book to read when we were standing in line. 

The first coaster I almost blacked out twice and the second I almost blacked out once. They were fun but my body isn't what is used to be after having 4 babies. haha 

Brandon and Tyrel went on a couple of crazier coasters that I didn't want to go on so Vandy and I hung out and went on some kiddie rides just for fun. haha 

Our first day was filled with lots of food, rides, soda and fun! We ended the day with delicious desserts from the creamery at the park and then headed out for the night. 

The next morning we made our way to the park again in the morning. Sadly, it was super cloudy and we only got a couple of hours before the park shut down because of the weather. We rode 1 ride before they shut the park down.

So we took off and grabbed some lunch at Longhorn steakhouse and then walked around for a few hours going in the mall and other shops. Later that day we had an Escape room to go to.

It was a fun escape room and thankfully we made it out in time. 

Then we went to the movie theatre to see "A Quiet Place II" 

It was a good movie. Very jumpy but it was good! 

Saturday was our checkout day. We got everything cleaned up and headed out to cleveland. We grabbed breakfast at a restaurant and then made the 2 hour drive to go walk around a river and explore for a while. 

It was a pretty view! We enjoyed the morning walk. It got pretty warm though and then we made our way to go grab some ice cream and a late lunch before heading to the airport! 

The ice cream was really tasty and then we drove to get the boys some Dominican Food that the boys found online and then some MOD pizza for me and Vandy. 

We got to the airport about an hour before our flight was supposed to take off. We made it through security super fast. It was a small airport! Then a few minutes later we got a notification that our flight was delayed an hour. It kept getting delayed and it was annoying just hanging out with nothing to do. So I bought myself a candy bar and some chips for Brandon and I and we hung out reading and just doing nothing until our flight finally took off! It was a quick but fun trip. We were really excited to get home and sleep in our own beds that is for sure!!
