Blessing Day

December 2nd 2012 was Wyatt's blessing day. My parents were there for it and Brandon did a good job just like last time! :-) Wish we could have it written down so that I could remember everything that was said! Oh well, it was good and all that matters is that he was given his baby blessing! He didn't cry at all which I was happy about. We were a little worried because he didn't have time to finish eating before he was blessed. We took some pictures after church in our backyard! Enjoy! :-)

2 months old already!!

Stats:
Weight 10 lbs 4 oz (10%)
Height: 24 inches (70%)

Two months Old!! I can't believe how fast time is flying. He is growing up so fast and although it is fun , it is also sad that he is getting so big so fast. Time goes by too quickly, so I am trying to enjoy him this little as much as I can. Well lets see he his 2 months the Monday after Thanksgiving November 26th. We were still in California and I figured I needed a picture so I took one on my phone. Ya I know not too exciting but oh well at least I took one on the day he hit 2 months.

Wyatt is such a sweetheart!! He is a super smilie kid and I love it. He has such a cute big smile and he is just always smiling which is so much fun. I wish I would have put down in my notes on my phone the day that he did start to smile at us but I didn't and I am kicking myself for it. I like to document when they start doing things for the first time. Oh well, I can't do anything about it now. Anyways, he is a good baby. He really only cries when he is hungry, tired, or has a dirty diaper. The rest of the time he is just a happy smilie little boy. He holds his head up really well. In fact he held his head up really well the day that he was born (which I think is because he used his neck muscles all the time inside of me as he lifted up and out of my ribs all the time). He is becoming more of a fun baby than an infant which is fun. I enjoy the newborn phase because they are so little but I also enjoy it as they get bigger and interact more. Wyatt also LOVES to have his diaper changed. As soon as that diaper comes off he is kicking and smiling away. It is the funniest thing. Then the new diaper goes on and he just smiles and kicks some more. However, he screams... if you change his diaper when he is super tired and when he is really hungry. He is way more of a screamer than Ethan was. Ethan cried a lot but Wyatt screams! haha It is funny though and it does not bug me. I find it funny how different things are the second time around with a baby. I remember getting so frustrated with Ethan when he was crying, but, with Wyatt I have more patients. Let see Wyatt also does not spit up half as much as Ethan did. He really only spits up once in a blue moon. It is lovely!! That is one thing that I was not looking forward to with having a another baby since Ethan spit up so... much! So it is nice having a baby that doesn't. I dont even bring burp clothes with me because I never use them. If he does spit up when I am out then it is so small that I just grab his blanket and wipe it off. There have been only a few times where he has spit up a good amount and I figure that is only because I didn't burp him good enough between switching sides while feeding him. Nursing is going well this time around thankfully and I am enjoying it even though he takes like 40 minutes to eat, but oh well I am getting used to it and some times he does take less time but for the most part it is about 40 minutes. So by the time I have burped him and changed his diaper it has been like an hour. So it is kind of taxing on me and Ethan, but then Wyatt is nothing but smiles when he is done. He does not like tummy time just like Ethan didn't but I think all babies are that way, and he seems to be a mama's boy which I don't mind at all! :-) Lets see.. another thing about Wyatt is he is SUPER gassy all the time. You can hear his tummy grumble all of the time, it is nuts!! When he is going to sleep he is always doing toot smiles and one time a while back he started to do a little giggle while giving a toot smile! It was so funny! He is not sleeping through the night yet but he has his nights where he basically does. He has had a few times where he goes 7-8 hours between feedings. Other times it is 4-5 hours. So most of the time he is up once between 1-3 and then again between 5-7 all depending on when the first feeding was of coarse. So he is doing pretty well but I will be happy when he does start sleeping through the night and Brandon and I can enjoy some time with each other at night and not have to worry about being up a few times at night. However, I do realize that once he is sleeping through the night that teething will be following and then we wont be sleeping through the night again. So I just wont worry about it. It is different this time around since I am nursing. I am the one that has to get up with Wyatt every time. Since Ethan was bottle fed we would switch off sometimes. Not this time around. So I get kind of jealous of Brandon sometimes as I am up again feeding Wyatt and he is in bed sleeping. But, I do get that time to just enjoy looking at Wyatt's sweet little face and not having to worry about where Ethan is at that moment. Wyatt also has chubbier legs already than Ethan ever had and we Love them! haha He is just so stinking cute!! He is also a chatter box. He coos all the time and it is so cute. He has this little raspy voice and I love it!! Another thing about him is that he has this cute little whinny coo that he does when he wants to be paid attention to or when he is just trying to tell you something. It is so cute, I love his little whinny coos! Well I think that is about it for the update of Wyatt at 2 months old. Still can't believe how fast time is flying!

Thanksgiving Break 2012

For Thanksgiving this year we headed to California again. We had no other plans and since no one was going to be going to Idaho for Thanksgiving this year we figured we would join my family again. It was a fun and relaxing thanksgiving. My sisters Ashley and Tifany were there, along with Tifany's boyfriend Quinton. We just hungout a lot and played some games, relaxed and ate way too much! It was nice having some extra help with the kiddos while we were there. Ethan had a blast chasing Aunt Ashley around the house and just having a little bit extra attention on him. One of the nights my mom and dad watched Ethan and Wyatt so that me, Brandon, Ashley, Tifany and Quinton could go see the last Twilight movie. It was so nice to get out for a little bit without the kids, even though I did miss them a little bit! :-) We had a lot of fun for thanksgiving and I am glad that we decided to be there instead of being just our little family. So here are some pictures!

Then after Thanksgiving week Brandon headed home on that Sunday to be back for school. I stayed in California with the kids because Brandon had to study for his boards all week. So we stayed in California so that he could just study and not worry about us at home. Plus I did not really want to have to be alone all day everyday for 2 weeks, so we figured I would stay and have some help with the kids and Brandon would be able to study as much as he needed to and be able to get some good sleep at night. So while Brandon studied at home, me and the kids hungout at Grandpa and GG's house until that next Friday which was the last day in November. Then my parents would drive us back to Arizona and we would bless Wyatt that Sunday. So it all worked out perfect. So during that week we only got out of the house twice. haha The kids schedules kept conflicting with each other so by the time Wyatt was feed and ready to go Ethan would be grumpy and ready to go down for a nap. So we only got out 2 out of the 4 days that we had to be there before we headed back home. Even though we didnt get out much we still had fun. We picked up some craft stuff from Hobby Lobby for Ethan to do and for me to do. We got some christmas crafts for Ethan to do and for me we got stuff to do a felt christmas tree for Ethan to play with, as well as stuff to make a flannel board and we canvased a couple of pictures. It was a fun week even though Ethan caught a cold and my hubby was not there to be with me. Oh well he had to study and it was the best thing for all of us. So here are some pictures from that part of my break!

One of our crafts! :-) Ethan made a tree for Brandon (left), himself (right) and I made one for myself! Fun little craft!

Then this is what Ethan decided to do with the other foam sticky things. Instead of putting them on the snow flakes or the ornaments he stuck them on himself! What a goof ball! haha

Then we tried putting Wyatt in the bumbo that my mom bought. He was doing really well in it so I figured I would take some pictures of my boys! :-)

Then of coarse my mom had to do a little photo shoot!! Which I do not mind because then I have some super cute pictures of my boys! :-) So here are those pictures of my 2 cute munchkins in their festive Holiday outfits! :-)

I seriously have the cutest kids!! Can't get enough of those little boys!!

I took this last picture on our drive back to Arizona. Wyatt is so funny in the car, it was dark and he could not see anything so he starts to fuss. As soon as I turned the light on he stopped and just stared at me. What a cute little stinker! :-) Ethan walked movies the whole way home basically. I LOVE DVD players in the car. They are seriously life savors! So we left Friday afternoon and got into Arizona around 9:30 or so and Ethan was so excited to be home and to see his Daddy. He went bonkers running around and playing with Daddy. It always feels good to get back home. Especially since my other half was missing!! I am seriously so blessed. If I were to list everything I am thankful for it would take way too long and way too much space on here. So I will just mention how thankful I am to my Heavenly Father who has blessed me with an amazing husband and two adorable amazing children. I am thankful for a Heavenly Father who was willing to send into my care these 2 beautiful children and any other children we may be blest with in the future. Also I am thankful for all of my family. Lastly I am thankful for the knowledge that I can be with my family forever. It would not be heaven without them! Happy Thanksgiving!

Enjoying life

Well lets see here are just a bunch of pictures of our life these days. I took these pictures on my phone in November and I figured I would put them on here. Just some fun times of hanging out oh and a picture of our SUV that we got from our neighbors (for a GREAT price mind you :-). ) So here they are!!

Oh ya!! That is how we play with play dough!! :-)

Lots of fun times! We have had one insident with Ethan being mean to Wyatt. Luckily it was only one really bad time. Ethan had a plastic golf club and as I was changing Wyatts diaper I was joking with Ethan saying yes and he said no and then he came over and told me he was going to hit Wyatt. I told him he better not and holding it in the air looked at me and then at Brandon and then back at me and smacked Wyatt right in the face with his plastic golf club! I was soo....... mad. I could not believe that he actually hit him. I did not think that he would actually do it. I told him before he did it that if he did I would throw it away and he would go in time out. So after he hit him I ripped him off the couch and ran upstairs with him. I took his blankets and binkie out of his room and turned the light on and closed the door. We left him in there for probably 20 minutes as we consulted our little Wyatt who had a red mark on his forehead and eye brow where his older brother had hit him. Then when I got Ethan out of his room I made sure to talk to him about how that was not nice at all and then I had him come with me to the garbage can outside and throw away his plastic golf club. This was not the only insident of Ethan hitting someone with it and this was the last straw so we threw it away. He was not happy about it and cried for a bit and I told him why we had to do it. So I hope he learned his lesson. It was not fun for any of us. I just hope that as we start to get out of the house more and do more things that Ethan will start to enjoy having his brother around more. It is hard for me since Wyatt take so much of my time right now, but, he is starting to get on a better schedule so things should start to get better! :-) Plus he has not hit his baby brother since then so that is good! haha Other than that life is going great! :-) Love my little family!
