Idaho Trip

June 18th we got up early and made our way to Idaho. The kids couldn't wait to go visit Grandma and Grandpa Murri. They also were super excited to see Great Grandma Huntsman. We arrived in Idaho just after lunch. We grabbed some Papa Kelsies for lunch and then got ourselves some tasty sodas from the Drink Factory. Then we were off to our final destination.

Shortly after getting to the house the boys wanted to go see Grandma Huntsman. Emmett was especially ready to see her because he knew that she had a Birthday present. Emmett loves her so much it is so cute!! She is so sweet with our boys!

Look at that cute bunch!!
My parents were coming with us on this Idaho trip! They left later in the morning than we did so they got in around dinner time.
After some dinner we took off to get some tasty ice cream at Reeds Dairy!

After Sunday's relaxation day we went on a long bike ride!

We stopped for some lunch at a pizza place before finishing up our bike ride around the snake river.

We stopped at the river to do another ball drop like we did last year when we visited Idaho.

The boys have so much fun racing cheap balls down the rivers.

The boys rode 17 miles that day! We were so proud of them and how far they went. They almost rode even farther. They wanted to ride their bikes all the way to get snow cones as we were getting back to the house. We decided to take a break from riding bikes and just drive to get snow cones. Which was probably a good idea because I am not sure they would have made it back. haha What is really funny is that on our way back the boys were saying that they were really hungry. Kayden then said, "My bum is hungry!" haha What a phrase! haha He is such a cutie and gave us all a good laugh!

Time for some delicious snow cones!!!

We also went to the junior course to get some golfing in.

The kids had fun golfing. It was getting pretty hot and Ethan was not doing well so he was getting all sorts of mad. Kayden only tried to hit a few times and then would just start to wonder off. Emmett played most of the holes but got tired and hungry towards to end. It was still fun to go and be outside in the nice weather.

We also took the kids to the sand dunes. Brandon told them all about them the last time we were in Idaho. So this time the boys were super excited to actually go and be able to jump into sand.
Brandon had to show them how it was done and the older boys were excited to jump into the sand. It took Emmett a little while to build up the courage to fully jump.

After a little while the boys had fun trying to jump as high and far as they could. Even Emmett started doing bigger jumps. They all had fun even though the sand was hot and they had sand everywhere imaginable.
Once they were done jumping around in the sand we headed to let them rinse all that sand off at a splash pad. Once they were done with that we headed over to the pickleball courts to play for a bit before calling it a day.

We had a lot of fun for the first part of our Idaho trip. We played lots of games at night, drank lots of tasty sodas, ate yummy food, had lots of time on our bikes, ate lots of ice cream and just had a lot of fun together. It was a great start to our trip!
