Well our little Ethan is 5 months old! We can't believe how fast time is flying. He is getting so big and getting so much more personality. He is so funny and has just lately been getting some major attitude. I was shaking a basketball rattle in front of him last Sunday and he was like yelling in frustration at it because he could not get to it or get in all in his mouth like he wanted! haha He has been doing that a lot with anything he can't get into his mouth like he would want. So that has been funny. He still does not like his tummy time and is still a spaz like his mom and dad! :-) He has been talking A LOT lately and that is fun! haha Except he has developed this shrill voice that he uses sometimes and it is soo weird and funny at the same time! He brings so much joy into our family. We love him so much even if he does drive us CRAZY sometimes!! haha

Having fun with Daddy when he got home from school!

So cute!

We watched "Toy Story" on Monday night for Family Home Evening and Ethan was pretty enthralled in it! haha He sat there just watching the movie not looking away once for at least 2 minutes straight it was so funny. Then when something would go past the screen fast he would get all jumpy and it seemed almost like he was getting mad or scared! haha He is so funny and it was funny to watch his reactions!

We finally bought some christmas lights for the outside of our house! Nothing too fancy but it works. I still need to take a picture of them on. haha

On November 27th we gave Ethan his first try of rice cereal. He did pretty well for his first time even though I don't know that he really likes the taste of it but he did really well for his first time. We took a video of his first time and these are just a couple pics from the second time he had rice cereal.

He makes the FUNNIEST faces!!! hahaha
I love it!

And this is just me messing around with my camera after we put up our Christmas Tree! haha This was the best out of all the pictures I tried taking! hahaha

Thanksgiving Break

Well we started out Brandon's break with putting up the Christmas tree which was different then last year when we put it up. First of all we did not have a baby to stop us from enjoying it together and we did it kind of late so we did not put the ornaments on it until just last night. I am happy it is up I love Christmas. So anyways we did that and we played some racquetball and went shopping and relaxed. It was nice just to have Brandon home with me all day long. Then we went up to Idaho for thanksgiving. We were so excited to be flying and not driving. I would take a 2 hour flight over a 14 hour drive any day! haha Ethan did really good on the plane which we were happy about. Then the day after we got into Idaho it started snowing and it snowed for a couple of days. We got a good amount of snow and it was really cold so that was interesting with Ethan never being in any weather colder than 70 degrees. haha We had a lot of fun hanging out with Brandon's family playing games and relaxing. On Tuesday we had my sister in-law Vandy's baby shower and it was fun. We are so excited for their little family and having this little girl and we can't wait till they have her. Being a parent is just the best even if it is frustrating sometimes. Then on Wednesday we had thanksgiving with Brandon's moms side of the family and on Thanksgiving day we had it at the Murri's side of the family. Both were fun but I only took pictures at the Murri Thanksgiving. It was fun seeing everybody again! So here are some pictures of our Thanksgiving break. :-)

Brandon took Ethan some of the mornings while on break and for some reason he decided not to go back to sleep for a little while. So while laying in bed waiting for Brandon to come back in and noticing that he was not coming I went out to check and see where he was. This is what I found. :-) I love these boys so much!! So cute! :-)

Ethan's first airplane ride and he fell fast asleep the last 20-30 minutes of the flight! :-)

All ready to go out into the cold!

Playing in his cousin Mady's toy! Luckily she is older and does not really use it so we were able to. Thanks Coya!

Watching football after a big yummy Thanksgiving dinner!

YAY for sisters!

Coya's little girl Mady! :-) so cute, she is getting so big it is crazy!

Ethan and his cousin Brycen! Ethan is 4 1/2 months in this and Brycen is almost 8 months.

The 3 cousin so cute!!
They both look like they are ready for a long winters nap! hahahaha

I love my little family!

Such handsome boys! :-)

Then of course we had to spend the nights at home with out Christmas tree lights on and watch "The Santa Clause"! :-) YAY!!

4 months old already

Stats at 4 months old:

Height: 24 1/4 inches (30th percentile)
Weight: 12 pounds 8 ounces (percentile in the teens)

On Monday Ethan turned 4 months old I can't believe it. So we went in for his check up and the doctor said that he is doing really good he is just not going to be a big boy haha. We have to make sure to give him lots of tummy time since his head is getting a little flatter and he needs to learn to like it! haha So we are working on that with him. He is such a fun little boy. Although frustrating at times all the cute times make up for it. He is getting so big so fast and I can't believe it. Oh ya and the doc said no baby food yet because he wants Ethan to gain more weight on his formula first! So I guess we will be waiting for a little while longer, oh well!

Picnic

So last Saturday we decided to go on a picnic. The weather was BEAUTIFUL and Brandon was going to need a lunch break from studying anyways. So I packed our lunches which consisted of sandwiches, yellow honeydew (which is really good by the way), strawberries and waters oh and some chips for Brandon. So I packed up the car and headed over to the surprise park near the library. It was so nice outside and we could have stayed outside all day, but Brandon had to get back to studying and we had a tired little boy. It was so fun and it was Ethan's first picnic ever! So of coarse we took pictures! haha He is such a cutie!

What a cutie!!

Playing with Daddy

Oh how I love these two men in my life!

Can't get enough!

We love this boy so much and he brings so much joy into our family!! He is getting so big so fast! Although it is sad that he is growing up so fast he is so much fun and just gets cuter every day!

1st Halloween

Well this was Ethan's first Halloween and I think it turned out to be a successful one with his cute little outfit! So the Friday night before Halloween Brandon, Ethan and I went to our ward Halloween party. It was pretty chill we just talked with some people and admired our cute little boy in his costume! We did not get enough to eat because they did not have much chili so afterwards we went to Sonic and got some burgers and a snickers blast and went home and watched an episode of Castle that we had not watched. Then on Halloween night we gave out candy to trick-or-treaters and watched "Lord of the Rings" so although we did not do much this year it was pretty fun just to get Ethan dressed up and show him off as well as just spend some time together. So here are some pics from when we dressed up.

Brandon was the Chef and I was the assistant cook
and as you can see lobster was on the menu! haha :-)

Our cute little lobster in his pot ready to cook!

Such an innocent cute little face.
I love the way he holds his hands together like this. haha
So cute!

The look of sheer terror! :-)

PLEASE DON'T COOK ME!
I WILL BE GOOD I PROMISE!!

Freedom! haha
He was only happy in the pot for a little bit and then he was ready to be free! haha He is such a cutie I can't get enough of him.

Love this little guy!!

I love this little boy SO much! He seriously brings so much joy into our family and I feel so blessed to be a mother. Things I love about my little boy and being a mom,
1. I love it when Ethan has slept through the night and when I walk in the room to get him and he gives me the biggest smile! So cute!!!
2. When Ethan was about 2 weeks old he was getting better at controlling his head while he was being held against our shoulders. The thing I loved was when he would stop bobbing his head all over and would slowly rest his head on my shoulder close to my neck! I absolutely loved it back then and I still love it when he relaxes into my shoulder and cuddles when he is tired.
3. He still does not like his tummy time but if you tap his bum while he is on his tummy he stops crying! haha
4. When he is really happy and in a giggly mood he has more fun screaming when he is having fun than giggling. He giggles for a little bit and spends the rest of the time screaming! haha
5. He is such a happy baby as long as he is well rested and not really hungry. If he is still tired and he is hungry he SCREAMS... so hard it just makes me laugh because he gets so mad. I always try to tell him that he just needs to calm down and that I am getting him a bottle but he does not listen to me! haha
6. He has the cutest pouty face! There is no possible way to be mad at a little face like this..
7. For the last couple of weeks our little boy cannot get enough of his hands. If he is not drinking a bottle he is chewing on his hands. If Brandon or I are holding him and our arms or hands get close enough he chews of us! haha It is the funniest thing, especially because he has such a determined look on his face while he is trying to chew on our hands! haha
8. The first and second time that Ethan rolled over from his tummy to his back he had a scared look on his face. He just stared at me like "what just happened?" haha
9. He always blows bubbles and after watching me make noise and vibrate my lips together he started to do it too. It is the funniest things to watch and hear him try.
10. Ethan is a very funny boy when it comes to what scares him. He will sleep through booming noises and anything loud. But the one time that I curled some ribbon he got scared and started crying and another time got scared when Brandon picked up the grocery backs in the car. So funny!
Although being a mom can be frustrating at times, it is by far the best thing in the world. I love this little boy so much. There are so many more things that I love about my little boy but these are just some of the things that came to mind!
He is growing up so fast and although it is so fun to go through these new stages it is also sad to think of how fast time is going. Time really does fly and all of these little moments when I can cuddle with my little boy or when he just lays on my shoulder when he is tired will be gone someday and I will never get to have them with him again. So I am trying to take in everything I can with him because he wont be a baby forever.

Love to Laugh

Well this little boy of ours started out the day with being such a pill and then toward the end of the night was nothing but giggles. We were laughing so hard. He is such a cute little guy and we love him so much. He brings so much joy into our little family. This is only some of the giggles and squeals that he did tonight and we are so glad we got it on camera! Enjoy!! :-)

So fun!! :-)

On Tuesday August 24th our little boy oficioly started smiling at us. Not just toot smiles but responding to us and smiling at us! Also ever since that day he started cooing a lot! Now he talks to us all the time and smiles at us all the time! He has the cutest big smile and I love it so much!! He is so much fun and he gets so excited when we are talking to him and making him smile! I have a feeling he wants to start laughing but he just can't quite get it out! haha He is a strong little bugger too. He does so well at holding up his head and ever since last week on the 13th he started doing really well at standing up with little support! He is so strong and sometimes I wonder if he is going to walk before he crawls since he does not really like his tummy time but likes it when we stand him up! Sometimes if I put him down he starts to get fussy and then I pick him up to stand again and he stops hahah it is so funny! Well we took a video of it last night and edited it so that there is sound because it makes it so funny! haha He is 2 months and 2 weeks old! Funny little guy!!

So blessed

Ok it has been way too long since I have posted anything! I can't believe that my little boy is 2 months and a week old! Time is flying by way too fast!! He has gotten so big and even though it is so fun to see his different stages and his smiling face and to hear him talk to me I do miss him being so little! He is still pretty little but not as little as he was when he was born and he has changed sooo much! Well at his 2 month appointment he was weighing in at 9 pounds and 10 ounces so exactly 3 pounds over his birth weight, which is not bad with the slow start he had in the beginning! He is also 22 1/2 inches long! It is crazy how tall he seems when he was only 19 inches when he was born. He still fits into some of his newborn outfits but they are snug and the 0-3 month outfits are really bit on him so he is pretty much in between sizes haha!! He is sleeping pretty well! We have had a couple of night where he sleeps for 6 or 7 hours and that is really nice! In general though he wakes up once during the night to eat and that is about it! He coos a lot and it is so fun and he smiles a lot as well. I love it it is so fun to talk to him and to have him talk to me as well. He has the cutest smile and sometimes it is soo big I swear it takes up his whole face haha I love that too! He is also really good and holding up his head although he does not like tummy time. He gets very upset pretty quick when he is on his tummy! I love this little boy soo much and I can't believe that Heavenly Father trusts me enough to send such a precious little boy into my care! I am truly blessed with the best husband ever and the best cutest little boy!!
Brandon is doing well in dental school. It has been a lot to handle with being in school and being Young Mens President but he is doing well at balancing everything so far! He is enjoying this year way more than his last year because it is a lot more of dental work instead of book work! So that is fun for him and he is so helpful when he is home. He loves are little boy soo much!!! So anyways life is good! :-)

Whats been going on!

So I can't believe that my little boy is almost 3 weeks old! It is so crazy to me that he is still supposed to be in my tummy until tomorrow and boy am I glad that he is not! Although I would love to get more sleep and not wake up to a screaming baby all the time but it is worth it. I love my little boy to pieces even if he is very frustrating especially at 2 or 3 in the morning. Well we had his 2 week appointment yesterday and he is still an ounce under his birth weight. The bad thing is that at his newborn appointment he was at 6 lbs 5 ounces and then 4 days later he was at 6.8 and over a week later he only gained an ounce! So we were instructed to give him a supplement of formula after I feed him if he still seems hungry and to go back in a week to see if he is gaining any more weight! So I guess being 2 1/2 weeks old and not back to your birth weight is not a good thing. Now I must say that nursing has sucked from the get go and I am still having problems with it. My little boy hurts me so badly and I think he is really lazy because he does not seem to eat all that well when he nurses. I would feed him for a half hour and afterwards he would scream like he is starving! So that has not been fun and I am ready to not be super sore anymore! If he would just nurse correctly and actually eat while nursing than I think we would both be happier. I don't know how much longer I can last if he keeps hurting me like he is and not eating while he is on me. Next week will be the month mark and if he is not doing better by then I think I will have a hard time not giving up and just giving him formula! So hopefully he starts doing better and I can stop being so entirely sore. He also still has his nights and days mixed up. During the day he seems to fall asleep super fast after he eats and sleep for like 3 hours. At night he will eat and then be awake for at least an hour and then only sleep for an 1 or 2 and then be up and screaming again! It is very frustrating especially when he does not want to eat right and hurts me! So anyways, it has been a rough go so far and I am hoping it gets better soon. He is the cutest little boy though and I feel so lucky to have him in my life. Brandon has been so good to me too. He is such a big help and I am so lucky to be able to have him home to help me during this time!
Our little guy at 2 weeks old

Also my birthday was yesterday and I had a great relaxing birthday. We started out with going to our little guys doctors appointment and then afterwards we went out to breakfast. It was really yummy and we ate a lot!! haha Then we just hung out at home and I ended up taking a nap and then Brandon rented "Travelers Wife" from the library and so we watched that and cuddled! :-) It was very nice to be able to really cuddle without having a huge belly in the way! Then we finished the day off with a yummy steak dinner and some monopoly deal! So it was a very nice day! Brandon was so good to me. He took care of our little one in the morning so that I could sleep a little bit more because it had been a long night with him. I have the best husband ever that is for sure and I am so lucky! I love both of the men in my life so much and feel like the luckiest girl alive!

We also celebrated our 2 year anniversary on July 12 and it was a pretty chill day as well. We had to go in for the newborn appointment that afternoon. So we really celebrated our anniversary by eating ribs for dinner and getting golden spoon that night and watched a movie. That was about it for our anniversary on the official day. However, we are planning on really celebrating it a little later. So it was nice for not having money and for still being kind of sore and my feet being swollen! haha So here is Brandon and I with our little guy on our anniversary!

My Birth Story

So on July 7th Brandon and I got ready for the day just thinking it was going to be an ordinary day. We had plans to go to my doctors appointment and then afterwards go grocery shopping because we had like no food. So we went in to the doctors and were really excited to get the ultrasound and see our little boy again! We got to the doctors office and the ultrasound tech said that he looked healthy and that he was about 6 lbs 9 ounces but that that is probably heavier than what he really was. He also said that my fluid levels seemed a little low. So Brandon and I then went into get checked by my doctor. When my doctor came in she told us that my fluid levels were pretty low. Normally there is supposed to be around 10 centimeters of fluid and I was at 6.9 or something. So she then said that typically she likes to induce people at 38 weeks if their fluid levels are as low as mine. So Brandon and I were really taken by surprise with that. We were going to have our baby by the next week. She then checked me and I was 1 cm dilated and about 50% effaced. She told us that we had to go in for a non-stress test 2 times a week and that one of the receptionists would call us with our induce date and time later. So we went home and were pretty much freaking out. We could not believe that we were going to have our baby in a week. (little did we know) We got home and ate lunch while we called our parents and told them the news! Afterwards we decided to just go get the non-stress test done with at the hospital and then go grocery shopping. So we headed to the hospital and got signed in and hooked up to the monitors to see how our little guy was doing. During the test I started having some contractions that were really hurting just because I was laying down and our little boy was smashing my ribs! I thought my rib was going to snap! I thought that the monitors were just simulating contractions to see how the baby dealt with it but the nurse told us that I was really having contractions and they were about 5 minutes apart. The bad news was that when I had contractions our little boys heart rate was dipping kind of low! So the nurse told us that she was going to go call our Doctor and ask her what she wanted to do and that there was a 50/50 chance that we were not going home! She left and called our Doctor. Next thing we know our Doctor came in the room! (Not a good sign) She told us that with his heart rate dropping that he was not cushioned enough with fluid so his cord was probably getting compressed with each contraction. She then said that she was going to go ahead and induce me that night. She said that it would be better than waiting a week and letting it get worse. If we did that then there was a chance of having to have an emergency C-section. So that was it, we were having our baby by the next day. She left and the nurse gave me my gown to change into and then they started on my IV's. The IV was not bad at all. Although they had to do it twice because it started puddling up in my right arm so she did it in my left it still was not bad at all. So after that Brandon left to go get bags packed and to call our families and let them know that news. It was a pretty emotional time. I started bawling once our doctor told us what was going to happen. She said that our baby would be fine and that there should not be any problems and that we should be able to take him home when we leave. Although it was good news it was still scary! Brandon left once I was situated in my room and I watched some T.V until he got back. I was finally able to eat some dinner at about 5 and after dinner they started me on cytotek (or however you spell that). Then at 10:40 they put me on pitocin! My mom and sister Tifany with her boyfriend Chris showed up at 2 in the morning and after chatting for a bit Tif and Chris left to go get some sleep. My mom stayed and helped me and Brandon out. Then at 6:45 in the morning they took my off of pitocin (I was still only dilated to a 2) to see how my contractions went on my own. I might also add that my contractions were hurting but I could handle it with some controlled breathing and trying to focus of relaxing. Along with help from Brandon pushing on my back and my mom massaging me a bit. Then at 8:22 my Doctor showed up and broke my water. Once my water was broken my contractions were definitely harder. They were about 3 minutes apart and when I would have one I would just have to close my eyes and try to breath through it. I was so worn out from being up all night with contractions and not being able to eat since 5 the day before that I was really weak. So I thought that I was ready to have an epidural. Also I had no clue how much longer my labor was going to last and I did not think I could make it 7 more hours or so with the hard contractions I was having and with them getting harder. So I decided to get my epidural! The anesthesiologist came in and got me all ready and with my luck had to poke me 3 times! Each time he went in and told me that I would feel pressure I felt a bad twinge of pain in my back on the left. So After the 2nd time of him poking me and feeling this pain while dealing with difficult contractions I was about ready to call it quits with the epidural and just go naturally. However, he finally got it in after the 3rd try and I had my epidural. Which I then felt like I was going to be sick the entire time of having the epidural. So I Sat there with a cup to throw up in and got a little nap in. The next time they checked me I was at a 5. About an hour later or so at 1:11 I was dilated to an 8-9! So I was finally coming to the home stretch of this labor and I could not wait for it to all be over. Then of coarse when it was about time to push my contractions spread out to 5 minutes apart and they had to up the pitocin again. When it came time to push I only had to push for about a half hour. so by 3:48 I had my little boy. I had to have a little episiotomy but that is okay. I was glad that I could feel the top of my contractions when it was time to push because I had a point to focus on with my pushing which made it easier. It was a lot of work but it was nice to be done. They put him on me when he was out and he really only whimpered he had a very pathetic sounding cry. But, that has changed haha! So overall it was a crazy experience. I was SOOO hungry afterwards that I just wanted to eat! So everyone else held our little guy while I got food and something to drink into me. Next time I don't think that I will be getting an epidural. I really think that I might be able to do it naturally and with the bad experience with my epidural that is the last thing that I want to do with my next one! Anyways that is the story sorry it took so long!

So proud!

Well we got Brandon's results in the mail for his boards! He PASSED!!!!! YAY I am so happy for him and proud of him that he passed. All of that hard work paid off thank goodness! So I just had to say that I am so proud of Brandon and all the hard work that he has done and that he was able to pass his boards! Now we can really relax!! :-)

The count down is on!!

Well first of all I just have to say that it is SOOO nice having Brandon done with his Boards. He took it June 18 and it is so nice to have him home! Although we do not do much it is still really nice to actually have him around all the time! :-) Well anyways... so today I hit 36 weeks! I am on the final stretch of this pregnancy and I am so glad! I cannot wait to be done being pregnant! It is going to be so nice to have this little guy out of me finally!! So today I had my doctors appointment and the nurse practitioner said that the babies head is really low in my pelvis and he sounded healthy on the Doppler so that is good! :-) I thought he had to be really low because I feel a lot of pressure down there so I figured he had to be. So hopefully that just means that he is getting really ready to come out! They will check me next week to see if I am dilating yet and I will be getting another ultrasound so that they can check and see if the fluid levels are good and make sure he is head down and see how big he is! So that will be exciting! Hopefully everything looks good and hopefully I have started dilating, that would be really awesome! Also I tested positive for GBS so I will have to go into the hospital sooner than I thought when I am in labor! Oh well, I really do not care I just want this little guy out of me! haha I think I came to a conclusion on why it takes 9 months for a baby to be born. Its so that the moms feel like they are totally ready to have a baby even if it means sleepless nights and frustrating times. I do not think that we would feel that way if it did not take so long, but, that is just my opinion! haha So now the count down is on. We have pretty much everything ready for this little guy to come and now we must wait and see when he decides he is ready to come! Lets just hope he wants to come out a little sooner than my due date. That would be really nice! haha So that is it for tonight I will update more later!

Shower Time!!

So in the past week and a half I have had the fun opportunity to attend 2 baby showers for our little boy. We had one here in Arizona and one in California. Thanks to Shauna for throwing such a great and fun shower here in Arizona and for kallee letting it be hosted at her house! :-) It was so much fun to get together with friends and this little boy of mine got the cutest things ever. :-) He is one lucky little boy. :-) It was so much fun and I am so blessed to have such great friends in my life. Oh I also have to give a shout out to my friend Whitney who helped throw the shower but was not able to make it. Anyways so we had this shower on June 2nd and my mom was able to be there for it which was really nice. Then the next day my mom and I drove down to good ol' California! Brandon has his boards he is studying for so he could not come which was sad. So anyways we got to my parents house Thursday evening and my little sister and my sister in-law flew in the night as well. It was so much fun to see my family and to hangout with them for the time I was down there. So then on Saturday we had the shower in California. It was a lot of fun too and I have to say with our little boy was hooked up by all of our family and friends. We really do not have much left to get, which is really nice. It was good to see a lot of the people that I grew up with, well their parents since all of my friends are away at school! haha I would put pictures up but my mom has all of them so I do not have any pictures from my showers sadly. Hopefully I can put some up soon. It was a lot of fun to be in California, except it was weird to be away from Brandon for almost a week. We have never been apart for that long in almost 2 years so that was hard. Luckily he got to come down that Tuesday night and we were able to hangout on Wednesday together and then drive home on Thursday. While he was down we went to this place called Scandia. It is a little amusement park kind of place. It has mini golf and some rides and an arcade. I had 2 VIP passes to there that I had gotten from my 16th birthday from my friend whose dad owns the place. They did not have expiration dates on them so we were able to use them which was hillarious. So we took my little brother with us and went and played in the arcade for an hour or so because the tickets got us 30 dollars worth of tokens for the arcade. It was fun to just goof off and try and win as many tickets as we could. We ended up getting a lot of candy out of it haha so it was fun! Anyways, now there is only a week left until Brandon takes his boards so I think I can make it. It was nice to be around people all day everyday when I was in California so I think I can manage to be alone for one more week. I can now get stuff organized in the babies room and get all ready for this little guy to come. So at least I have some things to keep me occupied. :-) 7 more weeks!

Oh and my sister took maternity pictures of me while I was down in California so I will post some pictures soon! :-)

We made it!!!!

So this last Wednesday Brandon officially finished his very first year of Dental School!! I can't believe it is over. This past year has truly gone by so fast. I am so proud of Brandon for doing so well in his first year of Dental School. Especially when he really did not want to study and was super sick of it all, but he stuck to it and pulled of good grades and learned a lot. Although he is done it does not really feel like it. He has to study for his Boards now which will feel like he is still in school anyways. He takes his Boards June 18th. So until then he will be going to the library everyday for a good 6 to 8 hours to study probably. So it really does not feel like he is done because he really is not, except for the fact that he has finished his first year. Once these Boards are over than it will really feel like he is done and we will actually be able to do things together. Although, I am not much fun because it is too hot to do to much outside while I am hugely pregnant it will still be nice to have him home, and for him to be able to truly relax and do whatever he wants to. So here are the things that we have going on in the near future. Well first of all Brandon studying for his Boards like I just said. :-) Also Brandon's sister and brother-in-law are coming down to visit for a couple of days! :-) After that I will be going down to California to have a baby shower down there the very beginning of June. I will be gone for about a week which means that when I get back there will only be a week and a half before Brandon takes his Boards. So that will be nice for me to get away and be able to do something while he is studying hard core. Then he will take his Boards and then FREEDOM!!!! Then we have our Anniversary and (depending on when this baby of ours decides to come) my birthday and having our baby or vice versa. So it is going to be a packed couple of months! :-) But VERY exciting! :-)

The long hall

So now that I am in my third and final trimester I am totally wanting to be done! haha I am so ready to have this little guy here. I know I still have like 3 months left but still I am ready to have this little boy here. Although having this little boy here will mean sleepless nights and frustration and whatever else may come, I think I am ready for it. I think I am ready to actually have something to do everyday! haha I think that I am officially past the phase of enjoying being a "lazy butt". haha I am excited for life to change. I have also realized that I am definitely not one of those girls that enjoys being pregnant. Whenever I hear of a girl that says she thinks she is going to miss being pregnant I think, "NOT ME!" I have had such an easy pregnancy that is for sure, and I am truly blessed to have had such. However, that does not change the fact that I am not a huge fan of being pregnant. Of coarse in the beginning of pregnancy it was exciting for a little while. It was fun to feel the baby move in the beginning. However, I always complained to Brandon about how I felt so fat and ugh.. haha! I do count my many blessing though. This little boy of ours moves ALL the time. Which although I complain sometimes because my body needs a rest from the constant pushes and punches, it is a blessing to me that I do not have to worry about how much he is moving. I don't have to worry about counting how many times he moves during the day because there is no way I could keep track with how much he does move! haha So that is a blessing, even if it is hard to say that when I am tired of him going crazy. I am also so ready to get back to being myself. I feel like I WANT to go on a diet haha and start working out hard core. I want to feel skinny again and have more energy to want to do things. I am also super anxious to see what our little boy looks like. Something that I find funny is anytime I tell Brandon that I want to be done, he tries to help put that at ease by saying something about how I have to push him out and other things that would scare me out of wanting to be done now. It does not help. Of coarse I am not looking forward to the pains of labor, but I am SO done with being pregnant. Maybe I will think differently when he is here, but as for now I am ready to start my life as a mom and get back to my old self. Hopefully! haha I guess I will just have to hold out for the 11 more weeks or so that I have left, and try to enjoy the time that I do have to just be lazy and not do anything or do anything I want. :-)

Oh Joy

So the other day my ribs were hurting a bit and I thought, "I think the baby is at my rib cage now because they hurt." It only hurt a little bit and it was the first time having that happen. Now, today I was doing a lot of cleaning and while I was doing so I kept getting this feeling at the bottom of my rib cage. It felt like I had a bug squirming around my ribs. It felt sooo... weird. So I would stretch out a bit and then my ribs would feel a little bit sore. So I really think that this little guy is now located at my ribs. My ribs have been sore now like all day. I am not excited about this because I am still a day away from 25 weeks and if I am already having sore ribs I can't imagine how bad it will get in the up coming months.
This little boy of mine is such a mover!! He is so strong and he must really like my hip bones because he likes to kick them or punch them and hurt me. Oh and tonight while I was reading I swear he body slammed my bladder! haha Seriously I thought I was going to pee my pants he hit me so hard. haha So not only does he hurt me by hitting my hips just perfectly to give me a sharp pain. Now he is going to start with my ribs. Man, I am soo excited haha! Oh well I guess it comes with the territory of having a baby growing inside of you. Hopefully he will be nice to me and not hurt me too badly! I would really appreciate it if he would be a good little boy and be nice to his mommy! :-)

Getting ready!

So this past weekend was such a crazy weekend. Getting our new carpet which I will have to upload the pictures I took and put some up. It looks BEAUTIFUL and feels amazing. It is sooo nice to have new carpet and our house smells so good haha! Anyways so right after getting our carpet in my family got here. It was a lot of fun to just hangout with them. I love my family!! I talked to my mom a lot about having this little baby. It was fun to talk to her about it since she went through having all 5 of us kids in the family naturally. It was good to get her thoughts on it. We also went and played raquetball twice, well I did not play my mom and I played ping pong while the boys played raquetball. I would have loved to play but I have not played in so long that I did not think it would be such a good idea. Brandon and I also finally put up the crib!! Yay..... I have been wanting to put up the crib ever since we got it but we could not put it up because we were waiting to get carpet. So we finally were able to put it up this weekend. So Brandon and I put up the crib Friday night, and it looks SO cute!! Oh and my parents brought with them a dresser that we are using as a changing table. So we are pretty much set now haha! We just need to get a pack-n-play and all of the little odds and ends. However, for the big things that we need we pretty much are set. So here are just some of the pictures of Brandon and I putting up the babies crib. Which by the way we put some of the things on backwards so we had to take apart some things after screwing them in and finally got it right. It was pretty funny. So the first 4 pictures are ones that my mom took and edited! She is so good at photography. Maybe someday I will be like her! :-)

Brandon and I working to get the crib put together!

Brandon working on tyeing bows from the strings on the bumper pads.

He did such a great job!! What a perfect little bow.
Nothing but the best for his little boy! :-)

So this is our crib all done!! :-) I love it, it is so cute!

This is the big picture of the babies room!
We are getting so excited for this little guy to be here!
