So the peach tree that we got from Sam's Club when we moved into our house actually had blossoms this year. After thinking that we wouldn't get any peaches because of the snow storms that we got after seeing blossoms we saw little peaches growing. We were so excited to have 4 peaches growing on our very own peach tree. On August 21st our first peach was ripe and ready to pick. We were so excited to have a fresh peach from our very own peach tree.
Look at that pretty peach!! It was a good size too for our first peach!
The boys were stoked about it too. haha I love this picture because Wyatt is looking at it like it is the cutest thing ever! haha Not only did this peach look yummy but it tasted yummy too. It had a tougher skin but it was not bitter and the peach itself was so sweet and just so yummy. I cut it into 4 chunks and we each got to have a bite of our first peach on our very own peach tree!! If you can't tell.. we were super excited!! :-)
