The Friday before Mothers Day Ethan's school had their annual Field Day. Brandon was helping out with one of the stations so we decided to all go and have a picnic lunch with Ethan and then just hangout for the rest of the time. Before that however, we decided to break off and let Brandon take Wyatt out for some "Dads and Donuts" time. Since Brandon missed "Dads and Donuts" with Wyatt's preschool we thought it would be fun for them to have their own Dads and Donuts outing. So Brandon took Wyatt and I took Emmett out for some donuts as well.
After donuts we got some lunches packed up and rode our bikes over to Bethke.
Ethan was excited to see us and was even more excited to have some fun for field day.
It was actually not that warm. We were not prepared for the windier weather that there was that day. So I played puppies with Emmett and we hid in the blanket and pretended to sleep and to hide. He sure looks grumpy in this picture. haha I believe this was his sad puppy face! haha
Ethan seemed like he had a blast. Brandon had fun running one of the stations and I had an interesting time trying to keep Emmett occupied and happy and not bothering his Daddy. haha Luckily they had Kona Ice there and so I went and bough Wyatt and Emmett a snow cone and they enjoyed that. The rest of the time Emmett ran around on the play ground and Wyatt sat near Brandon's station and watched/tried to play. haha It was fun but we were super ready to leave by the time it was over.
