Baptism Day

On August 4th we had to opportunity to have Ethan get baptized. He was super excited to be baptized and we had done lots of FHE lessons on baptism and what the covenants where and promised blessing for keeping those covenants. It was even better than both sets of Grandparents were able to be there for him on his special day. We got up in the morning and got some donuts and then got ready and took off. The program was great! They had some really good talks and a great musical number. Then we took off to go to the baptismal font. Ethan's friend Nixon Bohn was also getting baptized that say day which was a pretty neat experience. It was a great spiritual experience for all and we were and are so proud of Ethan for deciding to get baptized. I still can't believe he is old enough to get baptized. Brandon did a great job and had to take a second when he baptized him to compose himself because it was pretty emotional. Because he did that I knew that he was trying to get a hold on his emotions which made it even more emotional and me and my mom and Brandon's mom were crying by the time he was done being baptized.

After being baptized we headed to Firehouse Subs to grab some lunch and then we went home to have some fun.
