The day after the Fourth of July Brandon didn't have work because all of the staff wanted it off. We figured it would be fun to go to Centerra Kids Days and have a little fun. It was supposed to be on transportation and they normally have firetrucks and police trucks there. Ethan says he wants to be a policeman when he grows up so I figured he would love to see a police truck. However, as soon as we got there is started to pour rain. I ran and grabbed some free cotton candy for all of us and then we sat in the car to wait out the rain. It kept raining and they ended up just closing up shop for the Centerra Kids Days. So we didn't get to get any balloon animals or see any trucks but, at least we got some cotton candy for free! haha
It was raining so hard. We figured we would just go get what we were going to get done at some of the stores since we were down there but it was raining so hard that we sat in the car for a while. Anytime it started letting up a little bit and we were about to get out of the car it would start pouring again. haha Finally we just braved the rain and ran into the store. Luckily by the time we were done at the first store the rain had stopped and we were able to walk around outside without being rained on. The boys were pretty sad that they didn't get to see any trucks or get balloon animals. So I think we will try to make it to the last one that is happening in August. Hopefully we don't get rained out that time as well!
