Pumpkin Patch/ Carving Pumpkins

The Monday before Halloween Brandon had work off so we decided to go to "Anderson Farms". We had heard that it was the place to go for a pumpkin patch. So we figured we would check it out. There were a few little rides to go on and corn mazes and a play ground and a MASSIVE pumpkin patch!! So started off by riding some rides and then let the boys play at the play ground for a little while. After that we decided to go to the pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin. They were expensive pumpkins so we decided to just get one for Wyatt at the farm and then buy mine and Brandon's later from the store. haha  If it hadn't been so cold that day it would have been a little more fun. However, the kids still thought it was fun and after wards we were all very hungry so we headed out to grab some lunch.

We let the boys take turns on guiding us through the maze. Ethan thought that was pretty cool being able to be the leader!

Talk about a huge pumpkin patch!! Plus they didn't just have your regular orange pumpkins. They had tons of different kinds and colors of pumpkins. It was pretty cool seeing all the different colors and shapes that they had. I didn't even know that there were other colors of pumpkins! haha

All in all it turned out to be pretty fun of an afternoon! I was just excited that we were doing something festive for Halloween.

Then that night we got our pumpkins out and carved them for FHE!

Ethan drew his own face on his pumpkin. He did an awesome job!!
Both our boys did not want to touch the guts of the pumpkins, so Brandon and I had to clean them out for them! haha
Oh well, it was still fun and turned out to be a fun filled day together!
