A little bit of fun leading up to Halloween.

That Saturday night we got more snow. So we went to church and then the kids wanted to carve their pumpkins.

We told them that we were not going to do that day because it was too cold outside. They decided that they wanted to do it anyways. So Brandon said they would have to do it on their own. So Ethan got everything outside and he started to cut the tops off the pumpkins so they could clean them out. He was determined to get them carved that day.

While they carved pumpkins we drank hot chocolate in Santa mugs. haha

Then we helped the boys finish up with their pumpkins.

This was the first year that we have boughten the carving kids from the store. The kids were so excited to use them and cut out cool images. The tools were nice and the Ethan and Wyatt were able to carve the pumpkins on their own. With just a tiny bit of help.

He is just too cute to not take pictures of. They change so much! I just have to keep taking pictures of him.
I also got my guitar out to show Emmett. He was so excited that I had a big one. haha

Brotherly love!!

I love how much Emmett loves Kayden. He loves to talk to him and thinks it is amazing when he does something new. It is the cutest thing ever!

The night before Halloween we made caramel apples with the kids and then watched a little bit of "The Nightmare before Christmas!"

It was a pretty fun evening. The kids didn't love the caramel apples. Eventually they will enjoy them more. We even crushed up candies to put on the caramel apples. Oh well.. it was fun!

The boys pumpkins turned out pretty good!!

Ethan and Wyatt were jealous that Kayden was laying in Emmett's bed for a few minutes. haha

Oh and by the way we officially have a Roller. Kayden rolled over from his back to his tummy on October 29th. Once he rolled once he just kept wanting to keep rolling onto his tummy. It is so funny!! We were pretty excited that he started to roll onto his tummy now.

What better thing to do on a cold morning then sit in a warm tub with glow sticks. Emmett thought it was the coolest thing. He would drop one color in and then another one which would change the color and he thought it was so cool.
Then of course we had to make a fort. We built this fort and read some books in it while he ate some lunch.
This is Kayden's monster attack face. haha He went down to get Brandon's hand when he made this face. The video of it is so funny!

I also made some mummy dogs and white chicken chili for dinner that Wednesday night right before Halloween. The kids didn't realize that they were mummies. haha They just complained. I told Brandon that I don't know why I try to do things like this. It is probably more fun to me than it is to them. haha
