Fun from October 17th-26th

The middle of October leading up to some halloween fun was filled with parent teacher conferences, feeding Kayden his first taste of oatmeal, going to Texas Roadhouse, getting costumes ready and cleaning up some leaves in our backyard. It was an eventful week and a half.

This paper was so funny that Wyatt wrote in class. He is doing pretty well for 1st grade.

Ethan was so excited to be Napolean Dynamite for Halloween this year. haha

Then Emmett wanted to try to wig on and make a silly face. haha

Nothing like dinner at McDonalds so the kids can play. While we were finishing up I just let Kayden have a cup to play with. He seemed to enjoy the cup.

Wyatt was so excited about his costume too even though it wasn't even done yet. haha

Ethan's almost finished product. We just had to trim down his wig a little bit.
Emmett's almost finished product as well. We just had a little bit to finish on his vest that I made from size 16 pants and then he was set until we dyed his hair.

Kayden's first time with oatmeal!

I love the gross faces they make. He really did seem to like it. He kept eating it even though he made a few funny faces. I think he was just excited to get something other than a bottle.

Showing off their "8 packs" haha

These boys.... man what goof balls!! haha

Look at that sweet face. Kayden's eyes still will look more brown some days and more bluish other days. I think they are hazel just because of how much they change from one to the other. Although sometimes they have a greenish hue to them. It is crazy. With the other boys we knew what color their eyes were. There really was no denying it. Kayden however, has different eyes than them all.

Then we went to Texas Roadhouse one evening and let Kayden sit in a high chair. He did such a great job sitting in the high chair and really seemed to like it.

His faces were so funny when the servers would start singing and clapping Happy Birthday to people. His eyes would get really wide and he would just stare. haha He did it every time. It was so funny to watch. We also gave him a tiny taste of mashed potato and then a couple of tastes of apple sauce. He really seemed to like the apple sauce. I gave him a couple of tastes of that. He is sure going to love it when we start giving him fruit every day.

Then Emmett got to be a big boy and help bring the trash can back into the garage. He was so excited to do it all by himself.

And then Emmett wanted to take a picture of me and Kayden. haha

Emmett also had crazy hair day for preschool. He was super excited to have crazy hair day. It turned out pretty good!!

This little guy is the only baby boy that we have had that loves to eat his toes. haha I don't even think our other boys could get their toes to their mouths. haha He sure loves it though and it is so fun to watch him go for his feet.

He has also started to love his baths. He gets so happy just hearing the rush of the water when I turn a shower on. If I give Emmett a bath and he is in the room with me when I turn the bath water on he starts kicking and getting super excited. It is the cutest things.

He has also started to enjoy his bouncy chair more. He likes grabbing the rings and will be happy in it for quite a few minutes.

Brandon and I also got out on a date night. It was our first date night with leaving Kayden with the babysitter. I was pretty nervous to leave Kayden with the babysitter but I guess it was time. I was planning on bringing him with us but he had finally fallen asleep and I didn't want to wake him up. So we didn't. I told the sitter what she needed to do for him and then Brandon and I took off without him.

We had a fun evening grabbing dinner and then going to X-golf. I still had a hard time not having Kayden there but I knew it would be fine. So I was excited to get home and to see how it went and to snuggle up with Kayden after he woke up again to have a bottle.

Emmett looks so different with his brown hair. haha

We had so many leaves in our backyard this year. All from our neighbors trees!!

Since it was supposed to snow again we wanted to get all of the leaves cleaned up. So we had the boys help rake and pack up the leaves.

They had fun helping with the leaves and we ended up having 4 full trash bags.

Off to Jason's Deli..
Kayden is getting so big and has been enjoying being able to sit in high chairs when we are out.

He doesn't last too long. he ends up leaning backwards or just getting fussy.

After lunch we went and grabbed some pumpkins at Safeway just down the parking lot.

The boys were so excited to get their pumpkins so they could carve them.

And this kid was just happy like always!!! It was a busy but fun first half of the day.
