Bell Beach House Reunion continued

The last half of our reunion was just as great as the first part. With more fun, more treats and a birthday celebration!

One night it rained all night long. So the next morning everything was wet! The sand was really wet and the boardwalk was all wet. The kids didn't seem to mind and road down the boardwalk on scooters like it was dry. So of course Emmett crashed a ton of times. He just wouldn't learn from his mishaps. haha What a goof!!

Donut run in the morning!! There was a donut shop a little walk down the boardwalk that had some yummy donuts. They also had fountain drinks so that is where we went when we wanted to get some soda. Plus you could get refills for cheap. We went to this donut shop many times to get sodas. haha We just didn't get much sleep at night with all the constant sticky heat. So during the day I was tired and wanted some yummy Soda. haha

This little Remy!! haha He is so little and so cute! His dad Q gave him a dollar to play one of the games at the donut shop. Then he would beg for another and Q would give in and give him another one. haha He was so happy to have another dollar.

Yum!!!

Comparing mine and Davids green eye color! haha

Emmett wanted to be a helper and pull Harvey in the Wagon on the way back from the Donut shop.

What a cutie

Then we rented these to take down to the marina. We figured we would go to the bay area where there are no waves so that the kid could play in the water. So we rented this so that we could ride down to the marina instead of having to take a bunch of cars and lose our parking spots that we had gotten on Monday. Papa rented a bike as well so that he could ride around. Then Q and Tiff loaded up their truck with things for the marina and my Mom and Dad packed up stuff to take down in their car.

Then we took off in this bike. It was a lot harder than we thought it would be. haha Well harder than I thought it would be. It wasn't too bad but it was a good exercise! haha

We made it!!! We had to go through back roads and then on a main road for a little bit. It was confusing getting to the marina because we were not supposed to be on the boardwalk which is dumb. We saw people on the boardwalk with those bikes all the time. So on our way home we decided to just do the boardwalk and risk it. It was so much nicer going back to the house on the boardwalk instead of trying to find our way through back roads.

The kids had so much fun playing here that Thursday. They were able to actually play in the water. Emmett was so happy that there were no waves so he got a little wet.

The baby corner. haha Kayden didn't sleep great here. Mostly because it was hot. That and their was no waves sound to drown out the people sound. Harvey had fun in the pack n play for a little while but then wanted to get out and touch the sand. haha

I pulled Emmett around on this for quite a while. He did not want me to go any deeper. He is so funny how scared he is of the water. He flipped out when he was knocked off of the boogie board. He eventually got a little braver and got wet up to his knees but that was as far as he would go.

Then I pulled 2 of the boys on the boogie boards for a while and then Papa took a turn. haha

They were loving it!!

Oh Uncle David. Making silly faces with his hand and glasses.haha

Weston and Hayley enjoying some chill time. They were not able to bring their boys to the reunion this year. They had some things to work out that summer and Hayley's parents had taken the boys for 3 months to let them get things figured out. Our boys were bummed that their other cousins were not there but we were glad that Weston and Hayley were at least able to make it.

Its not time with Papa unless they all make his scary face!!! haha

After getting cleaned up and having some dinner we took the Ferry over to Balboa Island.
The kids thought it was so cool to be on the Ferry with the cars.

Plus seeing these cool boats was pretty fun too.

We arrived at Balboa Island and then walked quite a way to go get some ice cream. It was a place that made "The original Balboa Bars". They were really yummy. It was like having a Hagan Daz bar on steroids. Yum!!!

The kids got ice cream cones of course. They got cotton candy flavored ice cream and it was actually pretty good ice cream. haha
I don't think it is a successful ice cream run without getting all over one of our kids faces! haha

On our walk back we took a different route down the boardwalk. There were a lot of houses that had huge statues in their yards. It was pretty crazy!

Sure do love these Parents of mine!!! So grateful to have these fun memories with them!

After the Ferry ride it was time for some evening Beach time. Love the sunsets!!

So fun running from waves and just being down by the water.

Such a cute picture!

I LOVE this picture!! Emmett really wanted to go down to the waves but I was busy with Kayden and Brandon was busy with something else and so Papa and GG took Emmett down to watch the waves!

lol Typical one of my boys!

Love this picture so much!!!!

We really enjoyed watching the sun go down on the beach in the evenings. So much fun!!

Such a pretty view!

Emmett loved hanging out with Uncle Matt too. They had fun flying paper airplanes around the beach house.

Then my Dad had to put together his sand golf Friday morning. He had worked so hard to get all the right materials to be able to do golf in the and. He had saved his nut tins for the holes and bought croquet mallets and some lighter balls that would work in the sand. It was actually really fun. Great job Dad!!

The kids had a lot of fun playing golf on the sand for a while that morning.

Harvey liked eating the sand. haha

Sweet little buddy trying to sleep in the heat!

Beach time again.
Friday was my birthday and Brandon wanted to try and make it feel special for me but it was hard to make it any more special with us at the beach with everyone and trying to get down to the water with all of the stuff we needed and dealing with Kayden and everything. So Brandon got me a soda from the donut shop mid morning and then we were going to go grab some IN N OUT for lunch but I didn't want to have to be gone for 45 minutes or longer just to go grab lunch. So I told Brandon that we could just grab it on our way back to my parents house the next day which would give him a good lunch before he had to start the long drive back to Colorado with the boys. So he grabbed a sandwich for us to share while I was at the house letting Kayden nap. Then he had to leave to go pick up the ice cream cake he had ordered for my Birthday. So he left and after letting Kayden take a nap I headed out to the beach where most everyone already was. Once Brandon got back he was able to come hangout with us down by the water too.

Silly Emmett!!! He didn't want to wear Aunt Hayle's hat. He wanted Papa's hat. So they switched. haha

We didn't give Kayden much time in the sun at all. He stayed in the shade and every once in a while I would take him down closer to the water for just a few minutes and then take him back to the shade. We were so worried that he would get burnt and we wouldn't know it until it was too late. Our pediatrician had told us that with him being so little that he wouldn't burn like us. He would just all of a sudden be red and blistery. How sad that would be to have him get burnt and blistery. So we were extra careful with him being in the sun.

Such a cutie!

The kids really had so much fun playing on the boardwalk. This was truly the perfect location to be at with these kiddos. It gave them something to do when they were tired of playing in the sand.

Party Time!!! Ryan's birthday is 2 days after mine so we did a combo birthday party. The party part was mainly for Ryan and they brought a pinata for her to do with cousins. We had a yummy taco dinner before starting the festivities!

The kids were so excited to do a pinata! My boys are always wanting to have one. haha

Cake time!! Yum ice cream cake! My FAVORITE!!

Hayles' birthday is a week after mine so we thought we could since to her as well. It was a tri birthday celebration. haha

We got Ryan a little bracelet maker. She was pretty excited about it.

Then after cake we headed back outside to take a quick family picture. After that Tif and Q took their kids home. Ryan had her fever come back for a few more days and Tif took her to an urgent care down by the beach and they gave her some antibiotics. They were not really helping her and she was still getting a fever and not sleeping at night. So they decided to take off back home after the birthday fun. They wanted to get back to their house so that she could get some good sleep in her bed and then take her to her doctor as soon as they could. Come to find out later that she had walking pneumonia. Not fun!!

Anyways, after Tif and Q left we figured it would be fun to have one last fire in the fire pits before the trip was over. The other adults decided to take off to the warf. Harvey was sleeping so Ashley and Matt went as well. They took a lot longer than we thought they would so we started the fire without them.

Enjoying watching the waves for the last time!

My mom brought some glow stick things for the kids to play with in the dark and that last night as we sat by the fire and played music the kids had a blast running off after their glow stick frisbees and just being crazy. Hayles and David showed up as we were about to head back to the house. They showed up with some tacos. haha They said that they had planned on coming sooner but it took like 2 hours for them to get the tacos because of how packed it was. Crazy!! But at least after the fire and getting the kids to bed we played some games with everyone before calling it a night.

The next morning we had packing and cleaning to do. It was a busy morning. We ended the trip with going to the candy store and letting the kids pick out some candy for the road trip home.

Then we finished packing up the cars and said goodbye to the beach house. It had been a fun 5 days. We had some fun memories and good times. We were a little glad to be leaving the sandy humid heat that we couldn't escape. Other than that it was so fun and we couldn't believe it was time to leave already. Kayden was a hot mess that week. His eyes were all goopy and with the heat and humidity his face was having so much baby acne. So he was red in the face and all goopy in his eyes. It was so sad seeing his little face all out of sorts. He did a great job through handling the craziness of being out and about all the time. We even had to go get Kayden some new eye drops while we were there because the ones he was on did not seem to be helping. That was pretty rough worrying about his eyes and him getting sleep and staying cool enough but other than that he did well. We did have a lot of fun.

Officially leaving the Beach house! What a great time we had!! So many fun times with family. We were glad to get back to a house with air conditioning though. haha So we headed back to my parents house. Grabbed some lunch at IN N OUT and then Brandon grabbed anything that he had left at my parents house and then he and the boys took of on the long road trip home to Colorado.
