Birthday Celebrations

The Tuesday after getting back in town I had to take Wyatt and Kayden in for their doctor appointments. Wyatt's was a very easy and quick check. The doctor said he looked great and mentioned not to worry about his lymph nodes being more sensitive and swelling so easily. Then Kayden had his 4 month check up as well.
Kadyen's 4 month check stats:
Kayden weighed in at 14 pounds 9 ounces.
I can't remember how tall he was but he sure is growing so fast. He is such a happy baby!
Wyatt is still a big sweetheart. He has a very tender heart at age 7 and tries to make people happy. He is a total people person. In school he likes to try and make people laugh and he is really good at making friends. The one problem we have been having with Wyatt is that he likes to lie. He has gotten in trouble quite a bit for stretching the truth. Then when he is caught he makes a very sheepish smile like "Oh dang, I got caught." I would say that is one thing we are trying to correct with him. Other than that he loves 1st grade and is really a happy kid. I must say though he is also my kid that wakes up the earliest now. When he was a baby he would be the one that slept the most. Even when he was 3 and 4 he would sleep the most. Now he has a hard time sleeping in till 7. Most of it I think is because he wants to get up and watch T.V before school. Such a nut!! He is still my movie lover which we still have to control. haha He sure is a joy in our home though and we sure do love him!

So before Wyatt and my Dad's actual birthdays we decided to go to Texas Roadhouse. We had some free kids meal cards that we wanted to use. So we thought it would be fun to go out to dinner. Especially since Wyatt wanted to have them sign to him and sit on the saddle. So we went and he was a little bummed because he thought they wouldn't sing to him because it wasn't exactly his birthday. I told our server that we were celebrating both Wyatts and my Dad's birthdays. So after dinner they brought over the saddle and sand to both of them and brought out a little brownie and ice cream dessert. Wyatt was so excited!

haha I love how happy he was to get to ride the saddle!

That and get a dessert for his birthday!

Papa got one too! :-)

Delicious!!

My Dad didn't get on the saddle when they sang but he sat on it right as we were leaving. haha Silly guy!!

We also gave the boys the little gifts that we got in Arizona for them.

We got Ethan and Wyatt baseball cards.

And Emmett this little slime bubble blower thing. It was so weird and his face was so funny. He had to blow so hard to get it to come out.

So happy to have their baby brother home!

Then it was finally Birthday Day!! Wyatt was officially 7 years old!! Papa didn't sleep well that night so he tried to enjoy sleeping in for we went for donuts.

Look at that stud 7 year old!

He was so excited for his birthday donuts.

The crew getting donuts.

Then we had to take Wyatt and Ethan to school. We were a little late so I had to sign them in. He was pretty excited to wear his hat to school. Everyone was telling him Happy Birthday and he was just beaming! :-)

Then it was time to put Papa's birthday crown on. Ethan colored it for him.

We stapled it on and then got ready to go pick up Wyatt for a surprise lunch at Chick Fill A with Papa and GG after we dropped off Emmett at preschool.

Birthday Buddies!!!

He was so excited that we picked him up from school to have lunch with his Papa and GG.

Then after school the boys wanted to do their fun run.

It was a 4K and we told them that they didn't have to do it but they both decided that they wanted to run in it. So I met them at school and ran with Wyatt to help keep him motivated. haha Ethan ran extra laps (because he is crazy haha) Wyatt did pretty good running. I had to motivate him to keep going some times but he did really well.

After our run we headed home for some presents before going to the Summit for a fun filled evening.

He got so many cool things. A gift card to McDonalds,  a model car, mint Oreos, a hand controlled drone, a book and a scooter from Papa and GG.
He was super excited about the scooter. Some how we couldn't find his green one so he was really excited to have a cool scooter of his own again.

Then we were off to the Summit. One of the Orthodontists was putting on their annual patient/doctor appreciation even at the summit. We were able to do bowling for free and some arcade games for free. It was so much fun!

What a happy little guy. Just having fun cooing and smiling at us.

Wyatt was pretty excited to get to go bowling on his birthday.

Emmett loves using the little bowler guiding slide!

Such a sad little irritated eye still. We were so bummed that it was acting up again.

The kids couldn't help but stare at the music videos playing on the TV's. haha

Such a cute picture of my parents with Kayden!!

Kayden was happy for a little bit in the carseat and then he got tired and I brought the wrap so I could put him in it to hopefully allow him to take a little bit of a nap. So naturally I had to take my turns bowling with him in the wrap. haha

It was a learning curve. haha

So much fun with this awesome crew!

Then off to play at the arcade!!
When we were done with the arcade we decided it was time to get home so we could have some cake before the kids headed off to bed. Wyatt was super bummed because he really wanted to do laser tag. The problem was that we had not put our names in so we wouldn't have had time. Plus it was almost 8 already.
Wyatt was crying and all sad and as we left a lady that worked there gave Wyatt a few cards that had credits on it so he could use them a different time. That cheered him up a little bit.

Then Emmett and Papa were chasing each others shadows. haha

Look at these Birthday buddies!!

Happy Birthday to these 2. We were sure happy to be able to spend it with my parents. Wyatt was especially happy to spend his birthday with his birthday buddy!! Happy Birthday Wyatt and Dad!!! We sure do love both of you!
